# Algorand Node Configuration

Currently you can configure both a custom Algorand or Purestake.io node in the IDE. Once configured, you can use the configured node to compile or deploy TEAL program and perform other opertations.

*TEAL compilation using a Local SDK("goal" command line tool) is currently supported on MacOS and Linux. For Windows, you can use a running Algorand Node for compilation.*
